Worry

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer
Written on Jan 21, 2017

Worry creeps along the waves,
slow focus in murky depths.
Then crash upon desires it craves,
treasure troves in sunken wrecks.
Cross the heart with prayers
A lone journey intercepts,
dreams surf on tidal sprays,
to be rescued in bundled nets.
emotions under a foggy daze,
will ripple as time forgets,
between rock and a hard place,
drifting towards peaceful inlets.
