Survivor

poem by: Paul Stephens
Written on Jan 08, 2017

I'm just a survivor
Doing all that I can
Trying to stay strong
Like the man that I am

All alone in the world
Lost my family and friends
Try as I will
I can't make amends

All I can do
Is to continue the fight
Why can't I find happiness?
Don't I have the right?

Seems so unfair
But it is what it is
The cards I've been delt
I throw into the bin

What is the point
No matter how hard I try
I'll stay a lonely old man
Until the day that I die

Thanks Christopher, unfortunately it is about me but I go to my Silver Lining poem and I keep fighting.

Thanks Frank, unfortunately the new deck hasn't dealt me a better hand so far but I'll just have to keep playing in the main game until my luck may change, if not at least I tried.
