Red Red Robin

poem by: Martyn Grindrod
Written on Dec 12, 2016

Red Red Robin
Messages you doth bring
Flicking hedgerows you do hide
Whispering secrets totherside

Ebullient flyer
Settler on telegraph wire
Dashing betwixt oak tree to gatepost
scarlet cravat uppermost

Thank you

Thank you very much Christopher. It was poignant over Christmas with the one year passing of a close relative and the sightings several times of a Red Robin in our garden in England.
