It wasn't until that sunny day 
I realised I no longer had to pray 
You were here in front of me
Plain as day now I could see
I had waited for you my whole life
Battling misery and a whole lotta strife
It wasn't until you put your hands on me
I felt love in my heart and weak at the knee 
You see no one had shown me what love was like
I saw it as simply anger and fights
But that day you woke me up
Made me shine
From that moment on I was to pine 
Now together at last
Years have past
It's easy to see this love will last
The best part of sharing my life with you
Is you are my first 
My last
My true
