The magical wizard.

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Sep 30, 2016

You came to me today
With art full words
Inspiring every thought
I had to write and say.

You opened up my mind
Like a window of opportunity
Leading to a world of utopia
Softening life's realities.

The magic in your pen
Is the power of your wand
Then it fades away
When the flow of ink has gone.

Your artistic touch is a mystery
Never knowing why you came
To cast your spell on me
Then leave me here to wane.

Perhaps the wizard is your own creation, and that you are he.
Christopher Russon commented:
Thank you Geoffrey. When inspiration cannot be found poetry becomes very frustrating waiting for it to return But sometimes it takes time.
