Photographs and Memories

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Aug 01, 2016

His working days are over now
And time is on his hands
He moves a little slower
Yet he can walk and still he stands.

When he looks at all those photographs;
He was young for all to see
Never thought he would grow this old
He's not like he used to be.

Looking at those good old days
With stories to unfold
Some were quite amazing
Others best untold.

Then age, it has its beauty
No reason to lament
From the days of wild and crazy
To a respected city gent.
