Mother's Day

poem by:

You’ve always been here for me, through thick and thin,
Never turning your back, not once, no matter how I’ve been.
You are always here to listen, that’s why in you I do confide,
Providing words of kindness, which helps to build up my pride.
You put others before yourself, in the graceful spirit of giving,
Helping others in time of need, is how you find joy in living.
There aren’t many like you, and to that I can surely attest,
Always trying to do what is right, you stand out among the rest.
So here is hoping, as these words are read, you have a wonderful day,
You’ve done so well, through all the years, it is now my turn to say.
I love you Mom, for who you are, please always remain the same,
Being your son is an honor, that surpasses any fortune or fame.
