Ire

poem by: Chris Cleverly
Written on Jul 13, 2016

Make haste true vengeance
tremble bringing near
now is my return
with awe of vicious fear.
For months of years I waited
silent in my time
watching threw the frost
with patience I had bide.
As my spirit travelled
from hideous decent
Increased was my wrath
brutal and intent.
So guide me to fulfill
a war of utter pain
on those who spoke deceit
ending who remain.
