No Room for Doubt

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Jul 12, 2016

We are All souls in this universe of life
Where collisions and divisions arise
Atmospheric flash of mortal light
Seperate from waters of hope.
New born leaves and barely corn
Soon give way to winter's call.

Wishful thinking another road to doubt
Beginnings always have an end
With darkness in between
No colour
Nothing but nothingness.

Happiness is just an illusion
Fear is a real fact that we must face.
Dreams turn into nightmares
Keeping you awake at night
Preventing sleep.

The promised land has dried and turned to sand
You quiver and you fade with the sun.
Suddenly a figure appears dressed in white
Holding out his hand to the universe of life
Speaking words of love, peace and hope.

There is a gate that is open all are welcome
But there is no room for doubt.
