Land and sea.

Lost at sea
Lost no more
Wave those waves
Goodbye.

No angry storms
Just sand and land
Awaits for all
As a new day dawns.

Memories of tossing rage
Of endless flow of tide
A sudden change of calmness
Two shades of blue arise.

The rainbows prism
A deceiving eye
Says will you stay
Or say goodbye.

All is gone with weather change
New colours start to fade
grey clouds return again
Time to advance to harbours bay.

We see new pastures green
Our eyes an opened gaze
scented cherry blossom
falling on to the ground .

Barley with summers warmth
Grows slowly to its head
Adorning it must be said.

Lost at sea
Lost no more
Wave those waves
Goodbye.

Close those doors
Of yesterday
And let those seas
Run dry.

Sorry correction to this poem.2 shades of blue not 2 shapes of blue.

A very interesting poem describing changes in life from day to day. Sometimes I feel "lost at sea" but then i glimpse the shore and all is well. Thanks for sharing - JOHN
Christopher Russon commented:
Thank you John.this poem is based on a true story about a man who had fear of the sea. He thought he could overcome that fear by sailing it.he was wrong.

Very good poem Christopher. Nothing more beautiful and peaceful than the ocean (of course, i'm referring to viewing it while standing on solid ground on the shoreline.....hahaha)

Confusing??
A previous user commented:
Really enjoyed this piece. I actually read it as "shades". Great flow to the verses, choppy, just like the waves. It took a second read to get verse 6, but yeah, it all vocalizes a great picture.

Well Written

Disasters are scenic with its lovely art and expression. But when you're in it; fear entangles you, plummets your hope to the core of the earth. Wonderful poem.

Very good poem Chris......the sea is so powerful......scares me...I'd have less fear going into space than deep sea diving!.....
