Lost inspiration.

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on May 20, 2016

The pen does not flow
Like it did before
The words and rhyming
Have gone astray.
The song bird came just once
Was it never meant to stay.

Oh the sound of rippling streams
Wind blowing through the trees
Giving inspiration for a poetic theme
Aspiration it fades away
The light has gone out it seems.
