A walk

A walk

I'm going for a walk
There's flowers and trees butterflies and bees
There's no purpose for my walk maybe just to escape
Watching happiness go by and wondering why
You can be anything you want on a walk
Just walk
Brought to thoughts on my journeys of walks
Where now though on my walk this way or that way gentle road or highway
Either way I can escape and sometimes that's something so great
Just to walk for a while for a metre or a mile

Walk to feel the earth under your feet. Great way to put it,and insight into a simple walk.I would play around with imagery. Look up all different styles of poems mabey you could make a few versions of this

There's definitely something about a walk that allows you to lose yourself in the moment and escape I love this poem!

it is a good poem and yes we can escape while we are walking that is true.
