Mothers Day Lament

poem by: Andy Wilden
Written on May 10, 2015

As the dark clouds circle and tears turn to rain,
I remember your loss with a deepening pain.
Of how you was taken so many years past,
And how your love still lingers to the last.

I call you mother, your my sweetest dear friend,
As time passes by, the love we bear will have no end.
Thank you for all you have done and memories shared,
For all your loving, in the darkest hour, you cared.

Nothing in any reality could compare to your beauty,
You always did go well and beyond any duty.
From my heart to yours, on bended knee I pray,
I love you, I miss you, Happiest Mothers Day.
