A poem for ephemera

poem by: Derek Vincent

opposites may attract but my conscience retracts.
all love is infatuate but there is one that pursues fate.
we are the perfect but our love is a defect.
if she does provoke fidelity what shall I do in reality.
for whom ever cares do not ever dare.
although I stand for nil for her my world stands still.

All love is ephemera but that doesn't mean you should poignantly fall for a girl thinking if you do she'll stay... Women don't like clingy men. It's unatractive!
