Scar

poem by: Madelon Hucks

That burn mark on your hand from when you played with matches as a kid
That scratch in the tree from a knife
That scar on a moms heart from when her son died
They are all scars
They may look different, but they are still scars
The same yet different

Frank J. Davis commented:
Certainly, a mother who's lost a son is profoundly scarred!--but all, as you indicate, are marks that carry specific memories. An intriguing piece, Madelon!
Vijay Beck commented:
I agree with Frank, I pray healing for your lost! Jesus heals!
