Disgustingly Beautiful

poem by: Joshua JayShades Legister
Written on Jan 22, 2025

Oh my,
where are you when I need you?
You burn and buzz,
yet breathe life into me,
a language of the ancients,
calming the chaos of information,
steadying the stream.

Some may hang their knickers on the line,
green knights in the kitchen heat,
standing beautifully,
sweat glistening like poetry,
a testament to labor,
to life,
to all that is disgustingly beautiful.
