That Touch

poem by: D'Vina Dietrich
Written on Apr 04, 2022

All these years and I forgot
Now all I feel is your hands
Why is it even a thought

You would never hurt me?
It was because it was dark
And you couldn't see

Is that really the case?
That is what you said
Please mind hit erase

You were the only one
Atleast, that's what I thought
My only place to run

This is all too much
I really want to turn my mind off
I don't want to feel that touch.
