The dreams came again that night. This time I wasn't alone in the clearing across from me was Alex and his hands were reaching up whilst mine pointed down light danced through his fingers and he smiled at me as I was once again swallowed up by the darkness that rose to my outstretched hands.

“Not today,” I was woken by Alex's voice at the foot of my bed.
“What?” I mumbled as I sat up to face him.
“No sleeping in today, hiking remember?”
“You have no sense of mercy do you?” I growled as he stole my blanket from me.
“Batman, I should have known,” he said gesturing to my shorts and shirt I had worn to bed. Emblazoned on them were the popular hero’s logo. I climbed out of the bed and waddled to the bathroom. Alex grinned at me still holding my blanket as I came back. I wrapped my arms around him and the blanket and shut my eyes enjoying the warmth and hoping I knew how to sleep standing up. Alex chuckled and only then did my brain connect the dots that I wasn't just hugging the blanket so I pulled back with a growl.
“Such a grump and to think I got you coffee and breakfast,” He shrugged and dropped the blanket back on the bed as I felt more exposed, standing there in batman pyjamas.
“So you going to get ready?” Alex asked looking exasperated, “Milo and Sarah will be here later so this is our last chance to do anything with out those two sucking face the whole time.”

“Depends do you expect me to get changed in front of you or will you give me some space?” I asked letting attitude slip into my voice.
“Oh yeah sorry umm I'll be outside. If I hear snoring I'm coming back in got it? Naked or clothed I wont care,” He left hurriedly so the pillow I threw hit the back of the door.
