“Come on before you fall asleep out here and I have to get one of the grounds keepers drag you to bed,” I laughed reaching over to shove Alex, he caught my hand and pulled me towards him wrapping his arms around me. I was so shocked I just let him hold me.
“Five more minutes please,” He chuckled and my heart damn near soared as he held me close.

I nearly fell asleep wrapped up in Alex's arms right there in the middle of the long grass the weather was perfect for it a slight breeze fluttered through the grass keeping us cool and the only sound I could hear was Alex's soft snoring. I felt at piece right there but I knew we would wake up sore so after awhile I shook him gently, well his arms any way as he held me quite tight.
“What?” He groaned.
“We have to get up now,” I replied.
“Oh shit, sorry Kayla,” Alex said launching to his feet. I laughed as he shifted around uncomfortably before helping me stand.

“How long was I... Umm, you know...?” Alex asked almost stuttering.
“You were asleep about half an hour by my guess,” I replied with a smile.
“No I meant when did I grab you?” Alex blushed profusely.
“Oh you were so strong I couldn't fight you off, maybe five minutes,” I smiled up at him as we headed back towards the house. His shoulder bumped into me and he smiled back at me as he took off as fast as he could. Being competitive I was tempted to chase after him but instead I just watched his tall figure run through the grass lit by starlight.

…....

“This is your room I'm across the hall, everything you brought and anything you need should be in there. Here's the wifi password,” Alex said handing me a piece of paper and a practically comical large key to my room. The dark wood double doors were shut but I stood in the cream coloured hallway a moment longer as Alex smiled at me and unlocked his own room.

“Goodnight Kayla,” He dramatically bowed and shut the door.
“Goodnight Alex,” I sighed and finally opened my ENORMOUS room. I mean it this thing was huge I could easily fit my entire flat in here. A giant four poster bed the same dark wood as the doors stood against the wall to my left a dark green and brown leather chest sat at the end of it a vanity with draws and large mirror was hidden behind the bed a pair of two seater lounges to my right and a grand piano and a fire place next to them a door further back to the right that I could only assume was the bathroom and straight ahead thick heavy dark green velvet curtains that hid the balcony. The whole room was decorated in green and dark wood in gave the room a rainforest feel but someone had lit vanilla candles.

My suitcases looked completely out of place. All mismatched and varying colours and ages but I set about unpacking and exploring my room for the time I was here. I felt invigorated just from the luxuriance of it. Next to the bed was a land line and a list of numbers for various parts of the house apparently I could order room service as there was a menu there too. I found the bathroom was indeed the door through the far right a large deep set spa bath I could probably do laps in stole my attention before I noticed the two person shower that made me blush before I brushed my teeth and washed my face and went in search of the toilet that was behind a door I hadn’t noticed next to the fireplace.

There wasn't a television here but I had been instructed to bring my laptop so I knew I wouldn’t get bored. I changed into pyjamas being more of a shower in the morning kind of person. I set up my laptop and checked for incoming emails sighed at the spam and online shopping emails before turning it off and climbing into the huge bed it was not long before I was out like a light.
