Something Your not

poem by: Freesa Khan
Written on Apr 28, 2014

I reached into myself and pulled out my heart,
your trust in me was where i wanted to start.
I kept trying to explain that my words are all true,
but you don't really listen to anyone but you!

The talking turned to screaming and the good times to bad,
you wanted to be heard or else you got mad.
If it didn't go as planned it was the fault of others,
all relations were a waste but i still called u brother.

You left at your will and pushed us aside,
your ego was the only source of your pride.
You told me I should die and hell be my domain,
but once again in the end a brother you remain.

Sounds like your brother needs a lot to be desired, perhaps he will grow up soon, I enjoyed your poem....Peter

Once he learns to let go of ego, he will be a better person.

My brother and I had difficulties over a trivial matter but we finally resolved it. Lots of pain before it happened.... Keep trying and maybe he will respond. Janet
