Nostalgia

Oh the sweetest nostalgia of yesterday
Even though it was three decades ago
I remember clear, like it were today
Kiev-Riga on the train we would go...

It was magic overnight trip in a sleeping car
I loved the sound of the speeding train
Homemade food, tea in special glasses
Talking to the neighbors or watch the rain...

Those trips were many, they were unique..
So many miles with my family we went
I grew up, why so quick
At night i dream dreams, I try to catch a train and I can't...

I like this.. Memories from childhood are always the most vivid, magical experiences we can have. I believe you captured that magic in this poem.
