Magic
A man got some lottery tickets in his pocket
And a six-pack of beers in his hand
He needs some brand-new tires
For his old Chevy van
he is on his sofa watching TV
all of a sudden he lets out a "yeah
He Just won five hundred bucks
and he reaches for another beer
Sometimes life throws a little magic
Every now and then
I know it’s true
That’s how I meet my friend
A boy sits in his classroom
A very cute girl next to him
he likes her, but he is very shy
So, his chances are very slim
But later that day out in the hallway
Her books fell on the floor
He bends down to help her
Then he looks into her eyes and he was shy no more
Sometimes life throws little magic
Every now and then
And I know that it will come to you
but I can't tell you when
A lady makes her shopping list
And she pulls out of her driveway
She gets a grocery cart at shop rite
And wonders what’s on sale today
There is a very long checkout line
And she got to pick the kids up at three
She will never make it on time
Then a man says "miss you can go ahead of me “
Sometimes life throws little magic
Every now and then
And if you don’t believe me
Just ask my beautiful Trinidadian friend
Yes, there is a little bit of magic everywhere
And it’s happening around us every day
and we all hold a magic wand in our hands
to help the unfortunate ones who comes our way
a girl is driving her car
and she got a flat tire
it’s a bad neighborhood
and her situation doesn't look too good
she saw two guys coming
she was scared and don’t know what to do
then they knock on her car window
and said “don’t worry miss†we will help youâ€
sometimes life throws us a little magic
it’s clear to see
that there’s a lot of magic
to be found amongst humanity
every day I am thankful
For all the good people, that I meet
And you never know when you will find
A little bit of magic in the street
