Today there's a new craze taking over
With women, all over the world
They treasure their cell phones camera's
More than they value diamond and gold
Their love for expensive jewelry is now a thing of the past
And it's making some men very happy
Now it’s easier to buy gifts for their women
Just get them a smartphone to take out and post selfie
A woman posting selfie all day yesterday
But she only showing the makeup on her face
because she really loves her cupcakes and her Twinkies
And she put on some pounds around her waist
Jason buys his girlfriend a pair of diamond earrings
But she broke up with him and swells up her face
So, he returns the diamonds and buy her a cheap phone with a camera
Now she is happy and posting selfies all over the place
Women taking Selfies while driving in the car
Selfies in the morning, night and afternoon
Selfies on the job, selfies in the park
Some even posting selfies from the washroom
I remember seeing the movie “men in black “
With Will Smith back in 2003
And the kind of poses these girls making with their selfies
Reminds me of the smoking aliens in the movie
Azard takes a girl to Atlantic city
Thinking they would get romantic
But in the hotel, he falls sleep alone
because all night she was in front the mirror
with her camera only clicking click click
Now we all know that girls are very pretty
and some girls are made of sugar and spice
And some of them when they take their selfie
Boy, they do look so lovely and nice
So, we men don't have any problem
If the girls taking selfie all the time
But posting to many of the same pictures
After a while will only get sour like lime
Facebook and other social media
Like it having an effect on people's brain
And as I sit here writing this observation
I see like about 100 selfie pops up on Facebook again
so, I went to Washington DC, to complain
about the selfie epidemic to President Obama
But after waiting for hours, the secret service said" kaz
come back tomorrow Obama is busy taking a selfie with Sasha
Now I know after I post this narrative
I will have a lot of women hating on me
They'll be shaking their heads and waving their fingers
saying "Umm hmm "kaz keep your pens off our selfie
Last night had a lot of rain in New York
So, I fell asleep after a cool shower
But then I had a very bad nightmare
I see the Mona Lisa taking selfie with my camera
My friend Rosemary tells me to stay quite
And Sharon tells me " leave our selfie alone
So, I will stop writing this right now
And go burger king for a soft serve ice cream cone
And before I go I try to take out a selfie
But my expensive Android Phone broke when it falls off my hand
So now I have a $20 cheap phone
So no more taking out selfie for this man
