BALLAD OF COMMON SENSE

poem by: Fadrian Bartley
Written on Jan 26, 2018

Music makes their way
Dancers use them to play
The world appreciate how they stay

And have nothing to say
Actors do for pay
We watch them everyday

In crimes horrors and foreplay
For the kids these are not ok
If their lives devour by these prey,

Who gets the blame at the end of the day?
When everyone felt sorry and can do nothing but pray
Then worries come and make us grey

Shedding off pounds and surprise how little we weigh
Stress have us once more betrayed
We know few little when books put aside out of the way

Giving no heed to what author convey
Demoralizing what the poets says
Make this one of the reasons the world go astray

A price we all have to pay
When we refuse knowledge and start to disobey
And care less what the writers have to portray
