ANOTHER BLOODY SUNDAY...

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Jan 19, 2018

"Another miserable bloody Sunday, my mum is arguing again,...with him,
I can't stomach all this fighting, the future looks bloody grim.
Why bother being married? When all they do, is fight!
Is this all there is to living? Surely something isn't right.
I can't wait to leave this fuckin' place! can't wait to get away,
but I don't want to leave her alone with..him, otherwise I'd leave today.
Will she ever find true happiness? instead of living lies,
but she will only learn to smile again...when the evil bastard dies!"

I hope you aren't speaking from personal experience here. It's quite cleverly worded, and funny in a dark way.
