A letter to you

poem by: Noname Poet
Written on Dec 11, 2017

The fall of a new leaf, the end of an old chapter
A barren waistless reef, empty plains with no cattle
Questions on my mind, losing this uphill battle
Looking for light to spare, handed down Levi’s to wear
Full house deck of family, but an orphan to the care
The last drop siphoned, not a voice to share
EMPTY, EMPTY, EMPTY
This was the last fray of the Levi’s left with me
The last hope of the heart pouring out the broken stencil
So when in search for someone to care all I found was my Paper & Pencil
