The Truth Of The Matter Is

The truth of the matter is 
There was no love to be found 
It was all a facade 
You cannot lift your feet off of solid ground 
Things were said that may have sounded good 
But, those words simply have no weight 
Leaving the situation idle 
Is just simply another way to procrastinate
