I Love Trains

poem by: R.T. Aquinas
Written on Dec 09, 2017

I get excited when I hear a steam engine
I am entranced when it passes me by
I love the sound of its whistle
Although its pitch may be high

I wave at all the passengers
Who are travelling on the train
I don't know if they can see me
But I'm still happy all the same

I love the rhythm of the wheels
How they go clickety-clack.
I really do love steam trains
When they travel down the track.
