Pick One

poem by: Paddy Clegg

If it's a question of aggression
Then you can rest assured
The expression is a confession
And of it's self is a reward

Inquisition has a mission
Some people cannot ignore
You get admission by attrition
Or just use a two by four

Don't obsess over the process
The challenge is in the chase
But don't over-stress the success
Or it's gone without a trace

Don't inspect the defect
A certain ignorance is bliss
Just respect the prospect
It's something you won't miss

I really like your word choice. My favorite is: "don't obsess over the process, the challenge is in the chase, but don't over-stress the success, or it's gone without a trace". I feel like i can relate to that right now in my love life. Thanks for sharing..

Really interesting poem......hahaha...I like the thought of using a piece of 4x2 to gain admission....

Another delightfully concise and punchy poem, typical of your invention.
