Him.

He was there, when they wanted to hurt her.
He was there, to stop them in their tracks dead.
He was there, when the kid vented his strife,
He was there, to hear everything he said.

He was there, when everyone laughed at her.
He was there, to shield her from breaking 'part.
He was there, when they ruined his life.
He was there, to mend back his broken heart.

He was there, when no one was there with her.
He was there, for the simple sake to be.
He was there, when hearing was much harder.
He was there, even when he could not be.

He was there, when his world simply shattered.
He was there, to pick every piece that mattered.

He was there, whenever he was needed.
But no one was there, to help him when he needed.

Taha, I can relate to this. Great poem, considering you only recently wrote it. I really do like the last stanza the most. Do keep it up. -L

A thought provoking write. I can read this as a special someone who was always there for others but I can also read this as Christ being there as He always is. Janet
