I Be Not Thine

poem by: Rhys Aquinas
Written on Oct 16, 2017

Thou didst break me
But I be not thine to break
I didst love thee
But thine own feelings were fake

I still love thee
But thou hath moved on
And he hath replaced me
Before I am even gone

I cry to thee
Ask why to thee
But thou canst not answer me

Funny how people forget us so quickly ...... Yet we have trouble letting go of even the smallest of emotions .... Funny how so many years can mean nothing in an instant .... -T
