Happy 63rd birthday, October 4, 2017

poem by: Roxanne Dubarry
Written on Oct 06, 2017

As completely strange as it may seem, recently turning 63, was
not even in my wildest dreams. Leaving far behind all of my
childish plans. By placing my life in the hands of the Son of Man.
Forsaking all of my childhood dreams and schemes.

Life has not been as simple for me as it could possibly be.
Still, I am continually struggling with my own identity and
self-worth. Wondering what my life's purpose on earth?

I am grateful Jesus Christ once walked the earth to
dwell among sinful men and women. He helps me cope
with my ongoing problems of despair and depression.

My middle brother Dale called me on the phone today,
to wish me a happy (63rd) birthday. Mary purchased
a couple of McDonald's sandwiches for me. We
watched channel 355 Decades tv until an
early 10 PM bedtime arrived for me.

Love as always,
