Pain of its cruelty

poem by: Chris Cleverly
Written on Oct 03, 2017

until every peace died.
Not among the loss
nor the pain of its cruelty,
but here in this seclusion
finding solace built for me

We each carry some hidden pain, then we look around and realize that there is always someone worse off, I say that pain can be dispelled if we try to dispel the pain in others...beautiful poem Chris.
