It's for the few, and the proud.
Often broken-hearted, yet vain,
For them whom boasts so loud,
while inwardly suffering in pain
giving birth in spite of sorrow,
choosing instead to heed the call,
To a promise of a tomorrow,
that the children will grow so tall.
For this she lives, her proud legacy
teaching the virtues of love and integrity
That the children will continue a lifelong journey
Of spite of life's worries.
