Yesterday's Hero.

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Aug 13, 2017

I felt I lost a really good friend
When his life came to an end
Always there on my tv screen
My young childhood hero
If you see what I meen.
Following his career from a
Young man who rose to fame
He became flourishing actor
Conrad Phillips was his name.
He had so many chances
And he had so much to gain
But he he never really made it
It is the nature of the game.
He was friends with laurance Harvey
Michael cane and Roger Moore
But he never felt more happier
Than treading those theatricle floors.
He almost had those big breaks
That often came his way
Sadly it never happened
Others would steal the day.
But still he is my hero
I guess he will always be
And I will remember Conrad Phillips
He was a hero their for me.

Many a rose is born to blush unseen, some have the ability to promote their mediocre talent and become big names, personally I would rather make people happy than seek fame, very well expressed poem Christopher.
