What Will Be

poem by: Paul Stephens
Written on Jul 10, 2017

Loneliness can overwhelm
When you can feel your heart is bleeding
As each day is passing by
You know your life's receding

Whatever brought you to this place
Is now part of your life's history
Whatever lays way up ahead
Is destinies true mystery

You never know what could come next
Be it happiness or sadness
What will be will be could be mapped out
Hope it's sanity and not madness

Take each day as it comes
Try to live it like it's the last one
Do the things that you enjoy
On your own or shared with someone

Remember you only have one life
Do the best job you can imagine
Not leaving any stone unturned
Bask in self satisfaction
