Small shiny shells beneath my feet
Sun dappled water rushing by
Kites tangle vying for supremacy
Birds circling above
Diving into cumulus clouds.

Lovely simple little poem Cecilia.....I love the Kite, beautiful bird, and they do "tangle" in the sky, ......love it..
Frank byrne commented:
I'm assuming "kites" are birds, or are they the man made variety?.....a second reading makes me think the latter now, .....hahaha...I still love the poem.........(I think my head is a little bit tangled, haha.)....
Geoffrey Brewer commented:
Lovely images that communicate the sensations and delight of simple experiences. A very effective poem that gives a mind-clearing sense of freedom.
Cecilia Crasto commented:
Thank you Frank, it is the kites that you men like to fly. The first three lines were published by another poetry site in their Three Line Poetry journal last year, surprised me.
Cecilia Crasto commented:
