Glory be to god

poem by: Mushobozi Baitani

Alpha and omega, the most divine
Nothing exists that you can’t define
Your grace is a gift no man can decline
You live in my heart, I built you a shrine

The world is a sinking ship, in an ocean of sin
The devil’s the shark that’s lurking within
I’ll have no fear, for with Jesus I’ll win
And the lord shall separate the shark from its fins

Heart once black as coal, now white as snow
A dove among birds, fire bleached the crow
Heart beat no longer fast, and not that slow
I’ve no pressure, god eased my blood flow

Praise be unto the almighty, for he is kind
He gave audition to the deaf, and sight to the blind
Praise be unto God, lord of all mankind
He who put me upfront when men left me behind.
