By Steven Godfrey The united kingdom is divided , Brexit is in place New opportunities and uncertain times is now what we face I wish we would come together, sadly that's not to be Instead we all argue about what kind of country we wish to see Politicians and power they both go hand in hand I firmly believe their self gain, goes before the love of our land To me it's all about the money and just pure greed From fiddling expenses to bribery ,how much do you need ! There are millions of our citizens with no money in their pockets But all we seem interested in is who has the deadliest rockets Things have to change , children still starve to death Today across the world , they take their final breath But our governments are only interested in sniping at each other Fighting , arguing like biblical brothers We all know how that ended , we are headed the same way Put your hands together and look up, it's now the time to pray

Politicians are out of control......power is such a stimulant to them...they play with people, as if it was a game of chess!..........another really good poem Stephen...
