Captivity

poem by: Paris Marceau
Written on Mar 06, 2017

No words, nor names,
Just captivity entertained.
No escape, nor freedom,
Just tears and wisdom.

You give one hand,
they take two hands.
You then disappear to a different land,
But not your fairytale land.

You can run but you can not hide.
You can scream and shout.
I promise you that you will still end up nowhere, without a doubt.
