Disloyal friends

poem by: Gemma Marsh

I hear them talk inside I shake
So called friends my mistake
It took a lot for me to see
You were never really there for me
I held you up stopped you from falling
I won't change my mind even if you come crawling
How could you hurt me take our friendship for granted
Simple lies in your head have been planted
You crack on and we will see
Who has more respect ambition that's definitely me
I can be a joker a bit of a clown
But your like poison want to bring me down
You must be jealous it must be
You don't like my positivity
So go away leave me alone
You'll be bitter grow older alone
I won't give in or give up you see
I have things to achieve new people to see
So goodbye so called friend I'm done with you
I have a life without you I'm longing to pursue

That is a good way to exorcise the anger within you....through poetry.......that person wasn't a true friend.......good poem..
