Nan

Nan
I remember when we came to you,
2 little girls who's lives had been blue,
You stood there with your arms open wide,
Held us so tight each time that we cried ,
You brightened up The greyest day,
With your loving smile and wise words to say,
I cannot thank you enough for what you've done for me,
Without you nan who knows where I'd be,
Beach huts ice cream quizzes at night,
You filled my heart with memories made the future real bright,
I know at times I've let you down,
But still your there you never frown,
You held my hand as I became a mother ,
My love for you is like no other,
I know I don't see you for a while ,
But you never fail to make me smile ,
That's one thing I learnt from you,
Hold my head high smile my way through ,
Your a lady who's brace so loving and strong,
Flawless your qualities build a list so long ,
You have a heart of purest gold
A wise word or story to be told
Your brave you've been through so much
But approach the world with the kindest touch
So now my life is no longer blue
And that my precious nanny is thanks to u
