Drowning

Drowning

My wallow in self pity
Really isn't pretty
Felt sorry for me at first
And for knowledge had a thirst
But no one wants to hear it
They don't even know to fear it

I'm barely ten percent
Of my daily good intent
On smiles I heavy leant
All my power left is spent

Forget, dismiss
Get sick of this
Drown out the moans
The daily groans

Look closer and you'll see the pain
Smile acts as if i'm right as rain
In hidden depths my eyes are dead
On these days I drown I dread

Well thought out fourth line, good to write what you feel.
