Almost light outside

'Almost light outside'

When almost light outside
Yet you still haven't slept
Legs shake restless
Sleep quota never met

When its morning soon
Yet you haven't had a wink
Mind and body racing
Through those nights that stink

When the darkness' almost done
Spike adrenaline peak
All that's needed is sleep
Left feeling like a freak
