Before a period obscure and uncertain,
Fragments of the past and elements of the soon to be,
Contrive to both defer and encourage our determinations,
Of the near-reaching present, 
Or the far-fetching future dormant,
Undecided, but decisive to the prospect of our plans eventual conclusion.
