Winter Day

poem by: Dan Miltz
Written on Jan 22, 2017

O' the skimming, abundant, winter day
Becoming flushed, thundering angrily
Pushing with a licentious revelry
And a scowling, delicately astray

The day vanishes into the night eye
And dreadful ascents, with a feeling scream
The night a flickers in cherishing gleam
Life proceeds, a brilliant dusk over sky

Geoffrey Brewer commented:
You make the most of poetic forms. Atmospheric and lyrical
Arch Angel commented:
It creates extremely vivid images. I literally almost thought I was in a different place (no hyperbole intended). Good job!
