Considering the Snakes

Perhaps being personified as sneaky caused resent
Being likened to the devil, a deceitful serpent.

Being hard to see and greeting near ankles made people wary
Their blending complexion and fangs protect, not always meaning to be scary.

Proud of its power and trying to survive
Yet mocked due to lack of feet, brought snake's rage alive.

Instincts ignite as humans build over habitats, but the snake chooses no weeping
Can you at least relate to anger when woken from sleeping.

Go out in the wild, see its way of life, but not too hither
See it kill when necessary otherwise peacefully slither.

Needing to size up food, it was judged for playing with prey
Who cares for the snakes? Even in sun life seems grey.

So when a snake is in your yard, do as you must
But remember they didn't ask for an unfair life, choose to be just.

Did you write all your poems, on the same day? You can write well. But you need to stop rushing your poems. A good poem can take months, even years.
