New Year's Eve

poem by: Dan Miltz
Written on Dec 31, 2016

Another fresh new year is near
Watching tick-tock 'round the clock
One more year coming to an end, here
Tick-tock 'round the clock rock
A year of fun! It’s gone! It’s in the rear!
Fill it with cheer sock
To have another, joyous new year

Tis' night, awe-inspiring
The last day of year
Wishing for the season to bring
A year and a time to cheer
Rushing, to the fore, onward swing
Waiting for another bright moon to appear
To welcome in a new year ring-a-ding
