Spider to the Fly

poem by: John Carson
Written on Dec 24, 2016

Step into my parlor
Said the spider to the fly
Sit right here beside me now
No never mind just why
Slide on up real close now
And share this cup of wine
Oh come on now
You know your folks
Really wouldn't mind
There's one thing you should know though
As you gently tip your cup
At the slightest provocation
I just might eat you up

Love the humor and rhyme,,,we must always be wary of the spider.

Very good poem. It gave me the shivers. Spiders are not one of my favourites.
