Cold Winter Thumb

poem by: Dan Miltz
Written on Dec 17, 2016

O' Cold Winter raises its frosty thumb
In the gusty squalls, and the snow drifts from
Winter sun strikes brightly, sits and lingers
And delightful in radiant fingers
Shine quietly in wintry complexions
Quiet wind tossing teasing reflections

Snow drifts abound and birds race playfully
Whilst' nature lifts with glee and gaiety
And the stars a twinkle, through the night sky
Silent moon shine in a gleam'ng ul·tra·high
And angels dance in their moonlight journeys
God draws nature in artistic flurries

Cecilia Crasto commented:
You have a deep affinity to nature, as so brilliantly expressed in many of your poems.
